Anyone ever have experience dating someone who is bipolar?

I’m not sure what to do anymore. The highs and lows with this chick are making it nearly impossible for me to stick around. However, I do care about her well-being, and I don’t want to come off as a dick for breaking things off because I know she has very little control over how her brain is wired, but it has gotten to the point where it’s bringing me down.

Sex is awesome but make sure to get out at some point and change addresses and phone numbers

Run
Fast
If you can’t cope with the highs and lows now, it will be God awful in 5 years. And don’t have children with her.

Yeah, her libido is through the roof

Yes, it was fun for awhile and then I found her “meds” and realized what I had gotten myself into.

Yes.
He was difficult sometimes, other times it was a pleasure to be around him. The moodiness was terrible and illogical and more than I could handle.
One of the men I worked with in Houston was happily married to a woman who he admitted was bi-polar. She had a great job as an executive secretary. What kept them together was two very separate jobs and not seeing each other too much each day and she was willing to take her pills, even with the side effects.

Her brain is wired to run on AC, most people run on DC.
The sex is electric but the amplitude wave is shocking!
It's similar to bull riding, 8 seconds of adrenaline after which you just want to get off uninjured!

I am more partial to chicks with borderline personality edisorder. Neither make good choices for long term relationships.

You're proving the old saying... Never stick your dick in crazy. Run.

Yes. And as hard as it might seem right now and in the near future, the best thing you can do is make a clean break. It’ll be messy but you’ll be better for it.

How do I end it without her doing something irrational?

You have to do this one from a distance.
My crazy one came to my apartment and punched through a glass window on a door.
When she did that, I knew I made the right decision.

Yeah, she is going on vacation for 2 weeks towards the end of this month. I might weather it out and do it when she is out of town.

Back when I wasnt married I had this rule to break up in person. She was the exception.
If your gf is really the exception I would do it then. Have a plan to get her all of her stuff back, do it early in the trip, and be hard to find for a few days when she returns.
