Couches are a lot bigger and more comfortable now a days. Getting banished to the couch is a pretty inconsequential punishment really.
Don’t tell the women, but I think most guys are just fine stretching out on a big comfortable sectional and accepting the consequences of their actions!

Oh yea she she did, but I always slept in my bed. She slept on the coach. I pay the bills. If she didnt like me, she slept on the couch when we fought no matter how much she bitched about me being in the bed. Its my shite. If she dont like it she can get the frick out. We have a much better relationship today than we did months and years ago. No problems anymore. We had to learn each other and respect each other. Now that I have all the money and she only gets a small allowance, I think she figured things out.

No. I’ve never not slept in my own bed.

Edit - my guest rooms don’t have a 55” HDTV like the living room does, plus it’s easier to not have to make a bed.

If I’m snoring after a night of cigars and scotch I sleep on the couch because that’s courteous for the wife.

Yeah once. This is when I was the only one working too. I told her I’m sleeping anywhere I damn well please in a house I pay for.
