Anyone ever been tested for concussion related depression/anxiety?

FTR, I've suffered from major depression and anxiety/panic disorder since my early 20's. I also had three concussions before the age of 11. With the recent findings involving NFL players and concussions I'm considering being tested. Apparently the test is a type of MRI called Diffusion Tensor Imaging. Has anyone ever done this or know anything about the procedure. I'm not really sure that it would affect the treatment, but it would be nice to know if this is the cause.

Toughen up and learn to deal with your problems. Get a hobby.

do a search for hyperbaric therapy/concussion
that's a long time to go man, without taking care of it
if you have the money and the space and are inclined to check it out
you'll want to take a quality vitamin/mineral complex
I'd reco bioplasma....an assortment of cell salts to fill up your depleted reserves of minerals....also ionic minerals
why the mineral kick? the soils are seriously depleted of minerals which means we are all low, unless we are supplementing our diets. also take ionic minerals. multiple sources for minerals is a good idea [ variety ] minerals are immune function related and naturally anti-cancer. it's a win-win even if you forego the chamber
good luck bro
I know a dr who uses it for his patients
p.s.
also your search should come up with taking an assortment of nuts like walnuts and pecans as brain food

Half the country is on some kind of head pill. Might as well get tested but idk what it's going to do as far as dealing with the problem goes.

over the course of their career from peewee to NFL retirement, NFL players probably get >10 concussions (including the smaller harder to diagnose ones). On the other hand but that is kinda young to have your brain knocked around.

Oh, I've been eating meds for a looooong time. I only became aware of this as a possible cause because of the NFL findings.

i had a severe concussion when i was 4 and then about 3 more in high school playing football. never had the tests but the last one i had in high school was bad and had me down for a while and i didn't play my senior year. i would definitely check it out, especially since you had multiple ones at such a young age.
as for the depression if its not related, just remind yourself that you are in control of EVERYTHING starting with your own mind

Be aware that this could also be the cause of a prolonged depression. Keep your eye on the pills, brother.

Are you suggesting that taking antidepressants causes depression?

not sure about causing depression but your body can become used to the drug so it won't be as effective.
example: when i first met my wife i would get hard just by looking. now i'm like "eh"

You are in control of your dopamine and serotonin production?
