Ok well drop it from 10 ft and use a sharp blade.

The important thing, if this world had any common sense, is to harvest the organs.

Some people might prefer to sit on a waiting list than take an organ from a serial killer...

Maybe if you were important and one of the first

Besides the recent botched job, I think lethal injection seems most humane. I watched it on tv (not real I know) and they injected the dude with some major sedative first and he passed out. That's what I'd prefer

No doubt... Big rig full of heroin. Let me administer it myself. I'd be sleeping before the plunger was fully engaged

If you're going to guillotine, be sure to have a pillow for the head to fall on. The pain in the neck is one thing, the blow to the forehead is unnecessary.

Bam - death, painless and quick for like $25-50

Where could you buy this? Walgreens?

I don't think organs have memory.

If you really believe that I feel bad for you.

To the point, I'm not sure large segments of society have quite devolved enough to the point that they would welcome "the coliseum", but it wouldn't surprise me.

To the OP, tearing apart a living human being is something civilized cultures simply DO NOT do. Well, except for abortion.

It could be something like "Running Man" and put it on TV.

A novel and entertaining idea, but I'm not really that concerned about giving criminals on death row a "humane" death. It should sting a little.

Guy one- gets in place for his punishment-guillotine- the executioner pulls the cord- blade hangs up - its called an act of God and man gets set free.
Guy two - gets in place - same thing! gets set free!
Guy three - lays down, looks up - says, "well i see the problem- that rope right there...its looped wrong!

Some people could be weird about it.
"Oh, it's great that you got a new kidney! Who donated it?"
"Just some guy who raped and killed a bunch of people and got executed."
