I've always had at least some anxiety about flying, but it's gotten exponentially worse over the last few years.

I'm sure it's partly due to having a friend die in a plane crash in 2019. But that was a private plane.

I have to fly long distance at least once every couple of months, and I've been on the verge of a panic attack almost every time. Always during take off, and occasionally mid flight if there's a lot of turbulence.

Can't seem to shake it.

I've always been a bad flyer. When turbulence hits my hand goes straight to the overhead bin like a dork

If the good Lord had wanted you to fly he would have stuck feathers on your arse.

I do on long flights overseas.

I hate flying over open ocean with no land nearby.

It is stupid I know.

I use pills and booze. Always jealous of people who can get on a long flight and sleep 75% of the time.

the older I get and the more I hear about the pilot shortage situation the less I look forward to flying.

The older I get the more cautious I have become because, hell, if I've made it this far in this good of health throwing care to the wind, how long can I last if I am actually careful?

Takeoffs don't bother me. Descending through clouds and the feeling of the plane dropping out from under me bother me the most.

Lot of people. Airport bars are packed. You can make a lot of friends

It is the turbulence that bothers me the most.

Love flying on an A-380 it is so big you almost always have a smooth flight.

I personally hate being in those fricking death tubes.

Can't take those anymore, I'm apparently evil when on benzos and lose all empathy for others.

I'll see your hand to the overhead bin and raise you a letting out an involuntary squeal like a 10 year old girl.

I get it but from claustrophobia. I’ve flown a ton of times too. When I have a connecting flight the first flight is stressful. Then 90% of the time the next doesn't phase me at all.

No flying anxiety for me. I was usually pissed by the time we took off from watching dumbasses trying to stuff an oversized suitcase that should have been gate checked in an undersized overhead bin.

Would be really inconvenient condition considering I fly small planes here and there for fun.
I am terrified of heights but flying doesn’t bother me at all.

You have no control and will 100% die in a crash and you won’t feel a thing. Still fun to drink beers before 8am at the airport bars.

You want to know the secret to surviving air travel? After you get where you're going, take off your shoes and your socks then walk around on the rug bare foot and make fists with your toes.

Thing feels like it is lumbering down the runway and can barely get off the ground to me. Does make it seem smooth.
