I just heard they're going virtual. No mention of using digital. School learning and assignments to be completed via mail.

Who knows the psychological effects this shite will have on future adults in a modern society.

Yeah I think it’s coming soon. Rumors of some pretty big numbers of positive cases around the city at some private schools.

It's dumb. Social interaction is going to be the thing these kids lost that has the most lasting impact.

That's what I was told.

Hearing that most of the city will likely be shut back down pretty soon. More speakeasy’s about to pop up soon. Wouldn’t be surprised if things aren’t back to normal until May.

Seemed like it was already an issue with kids today, but now they don't go to school with each other, they don't have activities together and the fun of life has been taken and replaced with anxiety.
During impressionable years when you are still developing..

Rumors like the one that school was going to close after they got their federal funding in September. People who do not want anything open are seeding these rumors hoping something sticks.

It’s coming. Setting the daily record for Covid cases last week did us in.

Do these people think that kids will stop socializing and being with each other in big groups just because school is out? How clueless can they be?
Its sad, because for most of the public school kids virtual school is the functional equivalent of no school at all. What we are doing to our young is a crime.

It's a legitimate concern to be worried about the long term effects on these kids mental health. There are kids (now adults) who still deal with Katrina problems and that was no where near this
