Only on the movie board for me. Bunch of artsy movie snobs only interested in black and white, foreign language films from the 1940's on that board.

I've floated this idea before, but never got the board's opinion, as I've always put it out there like at the end of a thread.
Because I've seen some downvotes that really made me scratch my head, I think Chicken out to ad a feature called something like "downvote roulette", such that randomly, a downvote triggers a new thread that just says "__________" downvoted "___________"'s post, on page ___, of the thread entitled_________, ____ posts down."
I do think that would put some accountability into the downvote, and at times, I've thought Mr. Downvote needed a little accountability.

I've seen on other boards where you can see who up votes and who down votes each post. Would be interesting to see that here.

Not sure I want every up/down outted. To some degree, the anonymity is good.
Sometimes though, there's a post where you say "chit, who downvoted that?" Be kinda fun if it was generally still anonymous, yet, the hidden stood stood a CHANCE of being outted.

I notice a lot of the females get downvotes. I've been in a thread where only the female posters are getting downvoted. It really cracks me up.

I have a few. Seems like my threads always get several dozen downvotes for some unknown reason. And Ruzil is constantly trying to ride my dick.

I think it would cut out a lot of the foolishness we have now with the whole up & down vote system. Perhaps put in a "reputation" system where your rep goes up with up votes or down with down votes. Make it to where you've only got a set amount of votes either way to give out based on your rep level and make your votes public so everyone can see them on the bottom of the post. As it stands now the voting system really doesn't mean anything. This would give it some actual meaning.... Just a thought.
