Oral anti-fungal pill plus ZNP soap (ask pharmacist) for two weeks. Dont use any other soap during this time.

This will keep it away for at least two years.

I find that I skip a year or two sometimes. I've been getting them since I was 14-15 years old. I'm almost 35 now. How long does it take to outgrow?

What the hell is that?? If my skin started looking like that, I'd wear sunscreen.

It has nothing to do with sunscreen.

I get it every summer. Have the shampoo and when it gets bad the derma will give me a scrip for the pill version of the shampoo.

Mom is in her late 50's and still gets it. Just a fungus but sucks.

It's basically a sweat allergy. Has nothing to do with sun exposure.

There is none of that! This is an educational thread!

I get it often. The past few months it was showing up on my forearms after running and sweating. Big nasty red splotches. I also have old white spots on upper arms and shoulders/back from years past.

I tried the selsun blue, coconut oil, and ACV all applied externally. I also ingested ACV daily for a few weeks. Nothing really seemed to work until I went to an island last week and got burned as shite. After all my skin peeled off it looks like I am good as new.

I have a bullet proof immune system when it comes to colds/flus/viruses/stds but for some reason my skin can't fend off this pesky fungus.

actually...I think it was described as some sort of fungus. it's been many years since I had it but I do remember many guys on our high school football team had it too.

It is. And you can get a pill to knock it out in 5 days from Dr. Done it twice in last 7 years.

I used to get it in high school bad on my stomach. I think being out in the sun made it worse. It's gone now though and that was only about 10 years ago
