Well that sounds pretty cool. But some stuff that was ad free will no longer be ad free, which sucks.

Wouldn't it be Hulu is adding ESPNPlus?
Or is subscribing to ESPNPlus rewarding you with a Hulu free account? My Spotify sub does that.

The original trio was Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+. All three use the same password and account.

Disney is requiring this for Disney+, ESPNPlus and Hulu. As they are technically now under the Disney+ banner, Disney can us the viewership numbers from the other two to bolster Disney's failing streaming platform. Hell, Disney+ is getting beat by Tubi for viewership numbers.
