I mean, you are sitting here whining about violence, yet your stage name starts with Killer!

So, a society that promotes violence through music wants the rest of people to be against violence?

Hmmm...

People on that side of the issue get to pick and choose when things like glorifying violence apply to them. You on the other hand must do what you are told and feel how they tell you.

I dont disagree, but you can't lecture someone and then he a total hypocrite.

You can't be a part of a movement that labels people as racist for as little as saying nothing while having lyrics about literally killing people but say your lyrics don't count

johnny cash had multiple songs about shooting ppl and doing cocaine but he used his platform to advocate for native americans. whats the difference?

Killer is a nickname from his background as a battle rapper. “Killed” as in won battles.

Go watch his interview with colion noir and tell me Killer Mike ain't a baw.

He's got issues in his community just like we have issues in our community. But KM is alright in my book because he will speak his mind regardless of who it offends.

Anyone that wears this shirt to a press conference attempting to defuse the rioting in Atlanta is a complete moron.

Take a little trip, hater, pack up your mind
Look forward, not behind, then you'll see what you find
I caught a sucker dyin' 'cause he thought he could rhyme
Now if his momma is a quarter daughter must be a dime
I gotta meet her, don't take no shorts, I don't use abbrevi-
-ation, I don't even play the radio neither
Only if I need to know the sports or the weather
I'm a cool type of brother, but yep, your head I'll sever from the neck
See ain't nothing changed, hit the stage
Set a date, sucker, in battle we can engage
I'll slice you, wife you, marry you, divorce you
Throw the Porsche at you, is what I'm forced to do
With my back against the wall, crack his back, y'all
Naw, it ain't went nowhere like havin' hair with stylin' gel in it
Throw a curl in it
Dread that nappy shite up, throw a shell in it
Whatever floats your boat, or finds your lost remote
And this for them ****s workin' at the airport who got laid off
I take my shades off
If you look straight in my eyes, you still might see a disguise
Because the whole-whole world-world...

-The best rapper alive, certainly in that song, Andre 3000 from the song "The Whole World"

The saying on his shirt doesn't mean to literally "kill your masters". If you actually listen to what he says, the message means to make changes with the system & in the black community.

Verse 2: Killer Mike]
The way I see it, you're probably freest from the ages one to four
Around the age of five you're shipped away for your body to be stored
They promise education, but really they give you tests and scores
And they predictin' prison population by who scoring the lowest
And usually the lowest scores the poorest and they look like me
And every day on evening news they feed you fear for free
And you so numb you watch the cops choke out a man like me
And 'til my voice goes from a shriek to whisper, "I can't breathe"
And you sit there in the house on couch and watch it on TV
The most you give's a Twitter rant and call it a tragedy
But truly the travesty, you've been robbed of your empathy
Replaced it with apathy, I wish I could magically
Fast forward the future so then you can face it
And see how fricked up it'll be
I promise I'm honest, they coming for you
The day after they comin' for me
I'm readin' Chomsky, I read Bukowski
I'm layin' low for a week
I said somethin' on behalf of my people
And I popped up in Wikileaks
Thank God that I'm covered, the devil is smothered
And you know the evil don't sleep
Dick Gregory told me a couple of secrets before he laid down in his grave
All of us serve the same masters, all of us nothin' but slaves
Never forget in the story of Jesus, the hero was killed by the state
