Drive 83 Buick Riviera convertible every day, backup is 69 Chrysler 300 convertible. I don't go very far to work.

Couple of forums you can go to for Wagoneers, I have a 78 I'am in the middle of a frame off restoration. First one is IFSJA and the second is FSJ Network. Also Jeeptruck.com has lots of Wagoneers for sale in various states of disrepair or ready to drive.

I drive a 1989 Grand Wagoneer. Love it.

Worldwide Vintage Autos doesn't really do restoration jobs. I've purchased from them before.
I don't think they do a great job inspecting the vehicle. That Waggy has been in their inventory for a while

Good to know. I guess my idea of it being everyday use for 3 years is dumb. Would like to have one for 2 days a week I guess. It's either drop 10-15k for 120k miles or drop 50-80k for fully restored. Not really wanting to do that.

Restored can mean so many different things. No way it was rebuilt from top to bottom. You would have to do a little digging to figure out how far they went. If it is out of state,you can pay a company to do a survey on it and they will be more realistic with the assessment of the vehicle than the seller.

So true. A couple months ago I went to look at a car for somebody that was supposedly "restored" only to find out it was only "restored to running condition". Buyer beware.
