If so, how big is the pool you're doing?

I'm doing a pool with everyone in the U.S. We all made an agreement that whoever wins gets to keep the money for themselves. Seems fair to me.

3 of us threw in $10 a piece. I then made a list of all the numbers that didn't get picked, and am going to buy another $20 worth of tickets tonight for myself using those unpicked numbers. They're gonna be pissed if I hit.

Only one I ever did was bullshite. We all put up 20 our so for around 250 tickets or something.

Didn't win the jackpot, but something like $50 off matching combinations. The fricker holding the tickets basically ignored this and had to be called out. Then said he had just thrown them away.

Never again.

We set up a spreadsheet basically spelling out how the money would get distributed if we won based on how much was contributed. If you put $ in, your name gets on the spreadsheet. Everyone obviously agreed to the terms before putting in money.

Probably won't win, but you never know. FWIW my office bought ~70 tix.

If we hit it, don't bother sending your kids to my school for a week or two cause they're going to have to hire an entire new faculty and coaching staff.

* and yes, before the posts come, i realize i'm the lowest form of OT poor

Does the spreadsheet list the ticket numbers that were purchased? I would just have a hard time trusting the person holding the tickets. Seems ripe for a "oh, the winning ticket was one that I purchased separately" type thing.

Why would you just immediately quit your job? Seems like a dumb move.
