I can't ever sleep past 7 at the latest. Sleeping late is a waste anyway imo

Welcome to life...

In college, played in a band, was a night person.. Working day shifts in a hospital, I get up at 5:30... my days off, I automatically wake up between 5 and 5:30... sleeping till 7 would be sleeping in for me..

This amazes me. If I don't set an alarm, I wake up at noon.

Usually get up at 5:45. But today 7:30....having a cup of coffee and enjoying a slow morning.

I like waking up early tbh. Could go for an early morning hike or bike ride. Or could just lounge on the couch with a cup of coffee and just feel lazy and relaxed for a little bit before starting my day.

The idea of sleeping in does not interest me at all.

I see it not as "not having to wake up early" but "wake up whenever I want". Sometimes it's 8 or 9. Sometimes it's 6. Whatever I want.

As you get older, 8 am is late.
Hell, 6 am is late now.

Truth.
Just that thought of the first hot cup of coffee pulls me out of bed.
