Team pays for a lot of expenses on top of what they pay you.

The property tax rate on average is actually comparable to most of the other NFL cities like DC, LA, Seattle, San Fran, NYC burbs.
It's also a much more elective tax. You can rent and then your property tax bill is exactly 0

Thanks goodness the common man doesn't have to pay state income taxes in states where you take a business trip. A week or two in California or Nevada, etc. would really suck having to claim income in multiple states.
