What are the rates looking like? Don’t want the credit check until I know what range it is. Is it possible to get it sub 5% for high income high credit?

Maybe but you should be more concerned about yourself.

You can find special financing at some of the dealerships but otherwise you are paying 7+%

I look at it like this, interest rates are what they are. No matter what rate they're telling you, you're paying the current rate and they're just putting fees or something in there to buy down the rate. Cost of capital is cost of capital no matter what low APR lipstick they put on the pig.

6.5% probably the best you'll get, unless a dealership is having a special (doubt it)

I don’t think they will give special dealer financing. Most likely going through credit unions or banks. My high yield savings give 4.8% right now so if can get ~5% I’d rather finance

Oh that is tempting, 36 month is slightly aggressive

My cousin just financed at 6% with excellent credit

I got this in 2020 on our highlander from Toyota dealership down here in south Florida. Assume it’s worse now.

Got my wife a CX5 in the summer and we got 60 months for 2.9% or 3.9%.

Deals are out there, just have to look. A few captives are offering very good rates right now.
