This allows us to make our own decisions and not feel the consequences of others. If you see someone get hit by a car then in that persons reality it never happens(see quantum suicide). I've heard a story before of this guy Quinn Mallory who developed a sliding machine and was able to slide from one dimension to another. Supposedly the machine malfunctioned and several of his friends were unable to slide back to this dimension. I'm pretty sure a kromagg war was responsible for complicating their return and as well as the proliferation of the technology.

I could be an even bigger loser in my other reality.
I more imagine that we are some other life form’s experiment. Like their version of a video game. Kind of puts our individual insignificance into perspective.
