Strong men don’t need to brag or belittle others let alone judge them.

can sympathize actually. As someone else mentioned, I was also in the "how about you just be happy?" crowd as well until I had my first experience with anxiety and depression from out of nowhere last year. It altered my entire view of mental health issues. Depression and anxiety is about much more than just sad feelings. The effects I personally experienced made it easily the most difficult week of my life until I got in with a good doctor.

This is the Catch-22. Having never personally experienced it, it’s very easy to judge. There’s the want for people like Mingo and MrSmith to experience it so they can understand, but there’s also a stronger want for me to not wish for anyone to have to experience it, no matter how unreasonable or judgmental they are.

Well, I ask a question about something that I’ve dealt with for half of my life, and the first thing you do is question whether I should be teaching young people. I’d be willing to bet that none of my students has any idea of any issues that I deal with in my personal life.

You’ve lumped me into a group for your purposes, I’ll lump you into one for mine.

Does that stuff even work? Do you remember what you were like before?

I couldn't imagine taking Xanax for a long period. I know people that have seizures from abuse. Also people go out, act a fool and just say... Oops i took too much Xanax.

I'd be interested to see what meds the young school shooters were on or not on.

You would probably benefit more from xanax than anyone else in this thread.

There’s a difference between taking it as it’s prescribed for the reason it’s prescribed and what you’re talking about.

I’m pretty confident that I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for Xanax.

You, sir, are an idiot. An "inept" one, at that. I did my war....did you?

Excellent retort to my well developed comments based on facts. I look forward to further debate.

Additionally, your military service does not qualify you to speak on behalf of the scientific or medical community and the fact you think it does makes me sad for you more than anything.

Do you think people with schizophrenia should be medicated or just suck it up?

So, everyone on this forum with a mood altering drug is a schizophreniac?

I was pretty sure of that, and now you've confirmed.

Thanks!!!

I don't need that to cope with day to day life.

I in no way said that

Do you not know how to answer a simple yes or no question regarding your beliefs?

It's been fun. Y'all are some easily offended folks.

I'd prescribe getting off the couch, putting down the video game, and turning the tv off.

There's a whole world out there to see, without drug induced fog.....go live it!!!
