I'm not bent out of shape at all. Wading through all of you dumbasses there's been some good debate and I've learned some things.

Healthy debate and back and forth can be a great tool, you should try it sometime.

Again, the if you haven't done it you can't give an opinion is a totally asinine and unthoughtout basis of arguement.

So are you 23? You posted your age not long ago and I know it was early 20’s.

For a bunch of people who claim to be sensitive and informed on topics of mental health, y’all sure have gone off on Mingo, not shown him much empathy, and even made light of the use of SSRIs by saying he needs to get on pills.

These millennials always want to escape their problems rather than trying to better themselves

Sad? Get high on some pills. Can’t find anybody to hire you in Louisiana? Move to Texas

I can sympathize actually. As someone else mentioned, I was also in the "how about you just be happy?" crowd as well until I had my first experience with anxiety and depression from out of nowhere last year. It altered my entire view of mental health issues. Depression and anxiety is about much more than just sad feelings. The effects I personally experienced made it easily the most difficult week of my life until I got in with a good doctor.
