No, but Aspy says it does her horses some good, so there might be some benefit...

As Owlvis is reputed to have said in foreplay-
“You might feel a little prick.”

Yes. And with a properly expert practitioner it works for bone, joint and soft tissue injuries and joints hurting from arthritis.
The problem is that here in the South there are few practitioners. When I lived in the Northeast, I had a much easier time to find a practitioner. My shoulder was injured and I had to take a PT test in 8 days. I had two sessions and improved enough to pass the Physical Fitness test.
The practitioner was from North Korea and escaped to China, where she studied acupuncture and Chinese medicine. She had been practicing for about 30 years, most of it near NYC.

Never tried actual acupuncture but I have an acupuncture mat that works pretty well. I use it a couple times a week. Obviously, it's probably not as good as the real thing but it does a good job.

Integrated dry needling will probably be easier to come across and I have had it done. Works well for me.

Went for my migraines. I was desperate. No relief until she put out the "potpourri". I felt great for the next hour or so. However, the actual acupuncture part didn't help. (It was your stereotypical hippie woman from Cali)
