I've been looking around and thinking about getting one. Any recommendations?

Don't go old get yamaha 900

I don't know bikes. But I know motors. And that 900 triple is a work of art.

The torque curve on the motor alone is almost enough reason to buy it.

Here... I'll illustrate it for you.

I like flat track bikes more. I could really frick myself up trying to lay it out on dirt roads around here too...

I don't own one but my friend used to keep his Triumph Bonneville T100 at my house when he would go out of town and it was fun as hell to ride. I'd love to have a vintage Honda CB as well. I have no intention of getting a motorcycle though based on the number of distracted drivers on the road.

More of a fan of the scramblers myself, but they aren’t that much different than the cafe racers.

Custom made bike apparently. Triumph Cafe Tracker made by Vintage Racers.

ETA I found the image first, then had to read to find out who made it/what it was.

I have seen several triumphs around here. Appears to be a popular model.

Love it! Kawasaki built a W650 up until about 2007. Retro looks with reliability. Pretty easy to mod -
