Damn, that's a tough grandpa if all he got was some jaw rewiring.

Probably not.
It depends upon whether or not the first lady Captain Situation cursed at was the old guy’s wife. He came from that direction, so it’s not necessarily a bad assumption. As a man, you have to take up for your wife.
If he was just a bystander, he’d have done better just staying out of it.

Grandpa took one for the team, we don't need thugs in our community who threaten a bunch of women when he's in the wrong or in our guard doing King JBE's bidding. The only downside is he will probably be a net negative drag on society from here on out.
But hey, maybe he'll get the wakeup call he needed and write self-help books and pay the old man proper restitution and it will all work out.
Orrrr maybe he'll just go full on megadouche and end up murdering his wife in front of his kids like that army guy did in Hawaii this past september.

I didn’t say fight, I would’ve handled it much like the old guy. He took the heat off the women billy bad arse was cursing out, then Suarez took it up a notch with a physical threat.

This is irrelevant to the situation. But I have already stated - society gets worse as people stay quiet. I’m proud of the old man for telling the douchebag he’s a douchebag. Whether or not it’s wise doesn’t matter bc it’s done.
