You're probably going to want to find a clinic around Coursey/Sherwood. You MAY be able to get out to the area around OLOL, but so much of the city is under water your options are limited.

I've used this clinic twice and have been impressed both times with their care. They are located next to the Albertson's on Perkins at Essen Lane in the old Blockbuster Video building.

A medicine clinic wont do much. You really need a general surgeon

It can help him determine if he needs a surgeon. He doesn't know for sure what's wrong....

What do you expect the Walk in clinic to do? You need to find a general surgeon.

If you are close to Bluebonnet, Coastal Urgent Care is good. I've used them before and was seen almost immediately. LINK

There are surgeons within the BR clinic that they could refer him to if need be.

Yes. The walkin clinic can set up an appt for you with one of their surgeons after you're examined.

I second this recommendation. The practice is very well-regarded and has many different types of doctors who can address pretty much anyhing you get diagnosed.
