My brother got gutted at a shite hole bar in north Alabama sticking his nose in a fight he no business being in. Had to get life flighted to Birmingham and about died. His belly is a mangled mess.

My brother shot me in the foot with an “unloaded” AR 15 when we were in our mid 20’s nearly point blank range. It went straight through. I have also passed a 6 mm kidney stone. But by far the worst pain I have ever endured was getting a catfish hook, that was stuck in the carpet, buried into my big toe all the way up to the eyelet. Then, having it ripped out by my brother with a pair of needle nose pliers. It filleted my toe open like a piece of steak. Nothing has ever came close to that level of pain and I hope it never does because it took about 8 weeks to fully heal

I was shot with a BB gun, that’s about it though. We used to have “3 pump wars” when we were kids. I know that other kid hit me with more than 3 pumps!

Shot in the hand. Hurt like hell. Several surgeries and I still have a bunch of screws and pins in there.

Got shot in the knee with a pellet gun by one of the neighborhood bullies. Does that count?

About 10 years ago my cousin took a round in Afghanistan. He said it hurt a little.
A neighbor of mine wasn't shot, but took a nice chunk of shrapnel in his shoulder during World War II. Had a really gnarly scar.

I’ve been shot by paintball guns but that’s about it. Had a guy on the interstate one morning say he was gonna shoot me lol and I started thinking will I actually get shot at? Can’t imagine the adrenaline rush that creates if you know you’re in a situation where you may get shot. I figure that takes away a lot of the pain momentarily.

Not shot but got some shrapnel in the calf. It didn't hurt. It was numb really. A dead leg type of feeling.

One old timer told me he was fooling around with this woman and her husband shot him. He told me he didn't know she was married. He was in his mid-seventies and this happened in '72 at some bar.
