It is a sealed system. Change the filters monthly, and have them come once or twice a year to clean the inside and outside coils. I have a 5 ton two 3 tons and a 2 ton, like hell am I going to pay 19.95 per month per unit for someone to come and tell me my sealed system is still sealed, and to change my filters. That is almost $1000 bucks a year, I currently pay $200 twice a year for cleaning all 4 units and to inspect the heaters.
Does it come with some kind of warranty? Do they check the charge each month? The amount of charge let out when checked is minimal, but it has to add up over time. I bet when that happens, you are on the hook for the freon to top it off.

I have one. If you’re a do-it your self person then it’s not worth it. I fricking forget. So I pay people a little more money to call me, schedule it and come take care of it. No AC problems since I started with the maintenance plan. Works for me.

Thrilled with my AC guy but I don't need him much.
His house is the 2nd on the left when turning into my subdivision.
