Anybody flown in the Honda Jet?

Hows the ride? What is it comparable to? A Lear 45?

It's okay. Good on jet fuel. Not as good as the ride in the Camry or Malibu.
I hear it has excellent cargo space to hide your kidnap victims.

More comparable to an EA50 than a lear45. They test them every day out of GSO

Wouldn't a King Air be better , doesn't seem much faster or more spacious

Will be the most stolen airplane in the world based on the Honda Accords record.

Depends what you want/use it for. The Honda jet performs better than anything with a prop (maybe not a P180 or PC12, I don’t know). But if you’re looking for spacious and don’t care too muck about speed a DH6C or C208 would be cheaper than most BE20’s and BE9L’s
ETA king airs are nicer though

It's the rape van for OT ballers.

420 knots is what they are touting for the Honda Jet.
The comparable King Air in size would be the C90, which runs around 270 knots max. If you were to move up to the 350, you would still be just over 300 knots, but with a much bigger plane.

There’s definitely a mile high rape joke here somewhere

If one's time is that valuable , then you need the speed and service ceiling (to fly over weather rather than around it). But if you can spare an extra hour (oh the horror) give me a King Air 350 everyday.

I'm a TBM fan, they are fast and pilot is cheap.

seems pretty cool.
The "inverted" engine mounts on the wings is interesting.

Honda Jet?
Less than 60 per wiki, so probably not going to get a lot of help

You seem more like a honda odyssey type of guy.

it gets great gas mileage and has excellent durability; but it lacks in luxury: a no frills kind of plane.

I have not but a business partner of mine is going through the pre purchase inspection on a Citation CJ2 this week. It's pretty nice for what he/we will use it for.

I never met someone that actually wanted to be a Honda Pilot. Most people just buy or lease one when they need a Honda minivan.

Company I used to work for had a King Air and two Falcons (10 & 20). The King Air was definitely the workhorse...the Falcon's were pretty freakin' awesome. Quiet, comfortable and fast.
