I think those are the clowns whose insured tapped my bumper at some gas station in New Orleans East. Place was so awful that you couldn't even swipe your card at the pump.
There was no way I was waiting around in New Orleans East for a cop over some chicken shite accident (repair ended up being < $400). Of course, FIC balked at paying without a police report.
So we reached an impasse. I just don't have time to argue with them over some amount I can make in a few hours anyway. I guess that's how companies like FIC stay in business- insure poor people who don't frick up rich people's shite quite enough that they actually press the issue.

They can't just accept liability on your word. They need to speak with their insured. If it truly was the other person's fault you should be good but may take a little time.

I would have zero problem filing with my insurance and letting them fight it out...but I've been told it may not be good for my record in the long run, even though I'm not at fault
