No but I went there on a school trip once and found a hidden speaker that the tour guide denied was there

My wife and I did the tour around Halloween several years ago. My wife is from out of stat pe and it was one of the regular places she would take friends and relatives when they would come to visit.

We were in the dining room listening to the tour guide. It was relatively crowded and my wife was in the corner. There was no on beside her. She turns to me freaked out and said “we have to go”. We left the tour and went outside. She said something in the corner was pulling on her shirt. After that, she wouldn’t go back in the house for anything.

My wife has had weird stuff happen to her before so I’m not surprised. When I was stationed at Ft. Bragg we were in the barracks and she looked at me out of the blue and said “lights out”. When she finished saying it the lights went out. I thought “what the hell, how did she turn the light out in the room”. The lights weren’t off in the room, they were off all across the base. Ft. Bragg had a full power outage. It was weird. I asked her “what made you say that”. Her response was “I don’t know”.

Most people I know said nothing ever happened when they went.

We went in 2003 for the night tour. We found a skull ring, which was freaky. We took a picture of it and the photo had a black blot in the corner in the shape of a skull. The owner had a dog that my niece was playing fetch with and she threw the ball down a well that was fenced in and the dog fell down it. They had the fire department come out to get it out and it died. Took my nephew to the gazebo on that little pond where the bridge was in the back at night. My family yelled as we were walking into the gazebo and he got freaked out. I told him nothing was there and then I got hit in the shin by something and we ran( was standing still at the time so I didn’t run into anything). I asked them why they were yelling and they told us they saw something coming out of the gazebo as we were going in. Took a picture of a mirror and a there was transparent girl in a white dress in the picture that wasn’t there when we were there. Overall it was freaky as shite and we haven’t been back. My mom sent some of the pictures we took to someone who was making a book about it but never heard back from them.

Fraternity had a semi formal party there in the late 80s. We stayed the night. One of my Fraternity brothers brought some homemade hooch. We drank it. Saw some things. Drank some more hooch....." saw" other things like a talking cat and dancing raccoon. The a ballet of moths....moonshine or supernatural, you be the judge. All I know is that the next morning, my head hurt and at least two of the guys had pissed themselves.....and our dates promised not to press charges.

Stayed there in July. Great experience but no ghosts. We stayed in the downstairs bedroom. We could hear a tour going through in the adjacent room so we jiggled the door handle. Someone yelled, 'the door handle is moving!' But the ole gal giving the tour didn't play along and said there are guests in the room.

I have been. There is no such thing as ghosts. If there is a heaven, are you going to want to float around the same building for eternity?

Women are allowed in the barracks at Bragg? Learn something new every day.

Haven’t been to Myrtles, but have definitely had some weird fricking experiences elsewhere.

Had a girlfriend in HS that had this weird thing about wanting to stay the night there, take ecstasy and stay up all night doing nakid things. The ambitious marathon sex session didn’t work out the way either of us hoped, thanks MDMA, but doesn’t matter, had sex. Worff it. Didn’t see anything scary besides the boner that gave up too soon and being a young kid I thought viagra was only for old people. Oh well..

So to summarize...

You stole from the property, killed their dog, then got yelled at for trespassing?

No, they aren’t allowed but on the weekends nobody is checking. We shared a barracks with another company. Each company had an entrance on each side of the building. She’d come up in the other entrance and nobody said a word. This was back in ‘92 before the base was locked down. You used to be able to drive onto Ft. Bragg without going through a gate, nothing but open roads.

We didn’t take the ring. It looked demonic so we left it there in case it was cursed or some shite. And my niece did kill the dog accidentally. And the gazebo wasn’t off limits, so no, it wasn’t trespassing. But yea the story seems a bit unbelievable but it’s what happened

Stayed overnight once. The lights kept flickering, and we would leave the room, turn the lights off, and when we came back, they would be on. I think maybe the workers there do that. It would make sense for them to, considering ghosts are their main draw.

Also, one of our photos outside had a shadow that looked kind of creepy. That was the extent of it. The restaurant was good and the tour was interesting. It’s a nice couples weekend thing to do. You could go hiking in Tunica Hills or walk around St. Francisville for fun, too.

Wife and I in the 90's. Spent a night there in the middle of the week. Before the restaurant. Got the tour in the afternoon and we were the only ones in the house until the next morning. Middle of the night, door to our room got rattled and we could hear footsteps on the staircase. Was it set up? Maybe. But seems like alot of trouble to go through just to scare two kids on a Wednesday night.
