I have bcbs through work but total premiums are $36,000 a year plus the copays, coinsurance and deductibles which bring it over $40,000. I dont see how it takes this much to cover 2 healthy adults and 4 healthy kids. They are making bank on us.

Our company switched from United Health to BCBS this year and my premium each month is around 160. My husband has BCBS and his is around 380 a month and that includes our son being on his policy. What kind of plans yall got that cost so mich?

Work pays majority. Im only responsible for $600/mo. Point being $40,000 a year to cover 6 people aged 10-49??
