Burgers are equal to me. The fries, that’s another story.

To shame? Nah

I won’t wait in line that long for fast good, but I do love In-N-Out burger. It’s also not close to where I live in Nashville.

So I was living in the Bay Area and developed an affection for In N Out, like everyone else. Then I moved to Lower Alabama and was exposed to Culver’s. Went back to the Bay Area for a business meeting., went to In N Out at Millbrae. Was unfortunately less impressed. For the price and the relatively quick delivery its great though in their region

It’s a step up from McDs or Burger King, but still not a mid-tier burger.

In what way?
Health?

I will put the classic disclaimer of “I never really eat fast food” but MCDonalds is hands down the best fast food burger place.

If McDonalds was only in a handful of states in 2025, and they opened in TN. There would be the same amount of cars in line.

People want what they can’t have.

I’ll never get why they put the burger in the bottom of the bag and dump a bunch of fries on top of it. They give you a bunch of fries but no one wants to stick their hand through a bunch of greasy fries to grab the burger.

One of the Knoxville TV stations had a video from the Murph location and it was, inside, literally standing room only. Then a picture of a parking lot across the street with cars lined up for a space in that lot so they could walk over for a burger.

My husband drives through that area to go work on our boat, and was taking notes of the locations because he loved them in California.
