Its a video of what it sounds like, of course you will have hearing pro but its loud as hell and can be a bit unexpected/unnerving but you'll do fine.

As an MRI tech let me tell you the tech's favorite joke to hear after doing a brain MRI is "Did'ja see a brain in there?" One of my MRI tech buddies was scanning a POS meth-head in Austin. Dude wouldn't stop spanking his monkey so they had to return him to the ER & explain to the doc why he wasn't able to do the scan. He said the whole staff erupted in laughter. Austin sucks so bad. How would you like to be the next patuent to go in that scanner even if it was cleaned perfectly?

However for the vast majority of "normal" people an MRI is the easiest medical procedure you'll ever have.
