I'm supposed to be taking a quick trip to the Seaside area on Friday through Monday. Is my trip kinda fricked or completely fricked?

I'm here now. Red flags are up and theres a little flooding, but the rain is out. When you come, don't take the 3 mile bridge - barge came in contact with it and it collapsed apparently. They are saying we should get a little sun tomorrow or Friday, so you should be good.

We’re going to Navarre Friday next week. Anyone know how that area made out?

I know a section of the 3 mile bridge that connects Pensacola to Gulf Breeze got taken out, so don't plan on taking the Hwy 98 scenic route

You wouldn't do that going to 30A under any circumstances. At least I wouldn't.

That’s why I asked the guy earlier where he was. He mentioned 3 mile bridge so I was assuming he was around Pensacola beach Navarre beach

We are in Seaside. Came down Sunday. Rode it out last night. If you are coming Friday, you should be fine weather wise, but the beaches have been under water since we got here. No clue what they will look like. Also, I can’t get ahold of anyone at Kelly, Regatta, or Emerald Bay. Not sure how they all fared with the major flooding in Destin.

Breaking news:

The Bob Sikes Bridge/399 has suspected structural undermining/damage. Bridge from Gulf Breeze to Pensacola Beach is now indefinitely closed.

Garcon Point Bridge has a barge stuck underneath it as well so its likely the only way to Pensacola Beach will be the Navarre Beach Causeway.

The following bridges are closed due to storm-related damage: Interstate-10 Birdge, Bob Sikes Bridge, Garcon Point Bridge, and the Pensacola Bay Bridge.
