Nope, but with my present company we would all be on the same side. We did however, discuss in great lengths about a relative who seems to screw up every job they get and turn down opportunities they would actually enjoy and deal with their degree! That made for good convo

We usually talk about how Santa Claus was the Germantic satanists' way of diverting the Christmas spirit.

Nope. Everybody Trumpin here. Now today we will head to my Dad's and mingle with his girlfriend's family and they all pro Hillary and anti-america. So it will be me and all my views with my brother (who is a cop and ex special forces) with her kids who are anti gun and have a bad case of white guilt.

I tried to start an argument by bringing up politics. Unfortunately it was a civil conversation and I had to stay at my in-laws the whole time.
Was hoping for an argument so my wife would "make us" leave.

I shut down any political talk, and any gossiping about our families dysfunctional 'black sheep' by interrupting and asking about any ducks flying, if and scrapes have been seen on our property, and favorite recipes for rabbit.
I made it obvious I changed the subject on purpose and all allowed the conversation to change directions.
