The hell it is. I'd rather the chitiest day at work than a day with the flu.

If you’re pretty sure it’s the flu. Like your temp is over 101 and you don’t mind parting with the cash then go. Last year my daughter had 2 strains of flu A and started hallucinating. IV fluids at the walk in and xofluza helped pretty quickly. Of course she gave it to me. Xofluza was hard to find and was right under 200 ish. That little illness cost about 1000 after it was said and done, but the xofluza felt like it worked. Tamiflu felt like the devil iirc.

If symptoms last longer than 47 hours it means you are gay.

That’s what I thought. I am pretty sure I have had it twice (I lost my sense of taste and smell.) Didn't go to the dr or test either time, because I knew they wouldn't do anything. Stayed home. Took tylenol.

Feel better soon!

If you can get one of those shots it’s 100% worth it. I don’t know what it is but that shite is better than heroin.

I've had something for 3 weeks now.. it's just been lingering. Started with body aches and fatigue. Transitioned to sore throat and sinuses and now its chest congestion and sinuses. Never any fever though.

Been taking Mucinex cold, flu, & sore throat but it's barely helped.

Finally giving in and going get my z-pak and steroid shot today.

Well, the inflammation has likely progressed into a bacterial infection. Get Antibiotics and Steroids and knock it out. A friend Dr. of mine said that a prolonged infection causes scar damage to the sinus tissues, and that will be problematic for life.

Do it. 3 days and you're back in the game.

Only reason to go to doctor for flu symptoms is if you have a high fever that will not abate. Buy everything you need over the counter at CVS.

I went to the doc in a box for flu symptoms in November, and I was diagnosed with the flu. My copay for some reason was like 200 bucks. I believe I would have been just fine without the tamiflu. I say no, not worth it.
