Any other ‘Varsity Sports’ like shoe stores in the BR area?

Nothing against Varsity Sports, and I may end up going there, just looking to see if there are any other options.

I used to run a good bit years ago, life did what it does and I fell out of it. I want to start it up again, but I’m in no way knowledgeable about current shoes and what I should be looking for with my foot shape, body type, etc. I’m wanting to go somewhere I can talk to someone with a little more shoe experience than the high schoolers stocking shelves at Academy.

Thoughts?

Get fitted no matter where you chose. I’ve used both the former new balance and the current named store and varsity sports. Both good results at both.

Read Born to Run before you buy your shoes.

Now that Jeff Landry made it legal for everyone to conceal carry you don’t really need to run anymore
