Any other train buff kinda guys/gals here?
I've always been fascinated by railroads and all kinds of different train cars. My main hobby is photographing trains in rural central Illinois as I've been out of LA for a number of years now.
One of my favorite places to visit in LA is the DeQuincy RR Museum. There's also a cool little place in Opelousas for anyone interested.
Any tips for must visit train stops when I visit my family in BR later this summer?

Fave car of all time is the CABOOSE if u know what i mean.
(it's usurally the one at the end painted RED)
Trains in America are not what they R in Europe though u should check out those Japanese trains FAST AS CHIT.
ALso German Trains are ALWAYS on time. WE got teh Metra out here (i'm in IL 2) and it SUX arse
If u ride that one 2 work make sure u wear a gas mask because it has cancer fumes inside the cars. SRS.

I collect Mississippi Central ---->Illinois Central---->Illinois Central Gulf memorabilia. Grew up just west of the tracks and my grandparents did too. I've always liked the Orange and White locomotives and boxcars.
