The new on is now made by Ferrara Co,they bought Nestle.
Make sure you get the new version,they are great,yes,especially frozen.

UPDATE:
I bought both the new butterfinger AND the Oreo cookie bar.
The new Butterfinger:
+ Doesn't stick to teeth as much
+ Chocolate has a fresher taste
- Tastes more like a poor man's Reese's cup now
The Oreo cookie bar
+ Softer, chocolatey version of an Oreo
- None

Yes, did not like it as much as the original.
A fresh, original, butterfinger was great; one that had turned hard was not very good.

Some years ago - I guess a decade ago - I was banned from The Main Board. Anyone remember that place?
I was banned for arguing with a mod that butterfingers were better than Reese’s Cups.
And now I’ve officially lost the war. Butterfingers are trying to be more like Reese’s Cups. FML.
