Some girls like to see their man bang other girls
Maybe this is just a millennial thing?

If the wife offers you this, one of these three things is true.
1. She's testing you to see if you will cheat on her.
2. She's already cheating on you.
3. She's already cheating on you and is testing you to see if you'll cheat on her.

If you do it means she has been getting dicked by another a long time before you got your hall pass.

Good lord no.
A) Why on earth would I want to sleep with someone other than my wife?
B) We aren't trailer park trash.

No, it's nothing new. However, you have to realize there's a benefit for her as well and it has nothing to do with the thought of you banging someone else.

It's not cheating if she gives you permission to sleep with someone else. "Cheating" means breaking the rules you've established for your relationship.
This may shock you, but there are lots of non-monogamous couples. I think it's less common in the rural south, or at least it's discussed openly much less often.

I feel like most professionals my age (millennial) have done or plan on doing some non-monogamous activities with consent/active participation from their SO

Yea - I always assumed a hall pass was going to a bar or some kind of guys outing. Not being allowed to go bury your bone in some strange.

at first i was like "why would i need my wife's permission to go on a business trip?"
this makes more sense.
but, no i don't ask for one and don't expect one. cheating is too much work.

Absolutely nothing good can come from this. Nothing whatsoever.
