Any one here drink or have had Kava before?

First, not wanting info on it its healthy, or damages liver, etc.
Just want to know your experience with it as in if it works or you had a bad reaction to it?

It numbs my mouth and chills me out. Its a nice way to prep for bed in the evenings.

I tried the Kava bar on Oak Street in New Orleans a few times (paid for the double). It gave me a mild but very fleeting relaxing feeling, but that was about it. I haven't felt the need to try it again.

He's trying to find stuff that won't pop him on a drug/alcohol test. This is probably the fourth or fifth thread in the last month that he's started on one drug substitute or another.

I feel like kava can cause false positives with amphetamines but I can’t remember and don’t feel like looking it up
It’s literally another new age thing that sober people do to try to recreate the feeling of drinking 2 beers except it’s not as good and if you drink it more than a few times a week you get a skin rash
