Sorry...
I'm not allowed to drive vehicles without doors anymore. I wrecked a 4 wheeler about 12 years ago (not mud riding) that required 15 stitches in my forehead (I'm still gorgeous so gfy) and my father won't even allow me to drive a riding lawnmower anymore.
It's a standing rule. No exceptions.
But I was raised on 4 wheelers. They're a blast. If you've never been covered in mud from riding 4 wheelers, I feel sorry for you. It's not a white trash thing. It's a south LA thing.

Not sure what the link shows..
But yeah.. back in the 90's, Baton Rouge had some good spots . Off pecue lane, Choctaw, alligator bayou, even a nice little dugout on perkins..
It was fun, and expensive at times... but it is one of my fonder memories from high school. .
We would get caught every once and a while for trespassing, but the owners were mostly fine with it as long as we didn't litter. .
Trash , maybe..
But it was a damn good time

Ehhhhh, it's kind of a white trash thing. I grew up hunting and driving through the woods. Had a 4x4 with 32's until I graduated college, then had a Z71 with all terrains. One time when I was like 18, I went "mud riding" with some friends since it was supposed to be fun. I didn't get it. I used my 4 wheel drive so that I didn't get stuck and tear up roads.
Not trying to knock people who enjoy it. I just don't get it. And to say it isn't a little white trash is being dishonest. Tons of fun things are white trash. And to you, this may be one of them.

Yep.
Loved it for high school and bringing city friends during college weekends. Many good times and a concussion or so.

I've never been mud riding in a truck. That's redneck as frick.
OP said ATV's. That's what I've done. I grew up hunting, fishing, and riding ATV's. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Going cut up something in your Z 71 with oversized tires at 2am for the frick of it is just trashy.

To each their own
Put a 4 wheeler in front of me and I'm going to get on it and see how fast it can go and how many holes I can jump. I have the scars to prove it.
Eta: you remind me of my brother
