You'll think this is a joke, but come to Colombia.

Bang out an 18 year old hottie while doing a line of coke. Depression cured.

For 24 hours after a heartbreaking loss in Baseball or Football I'm self-diagnosed.

I did that with/to a Dutchtown HS Senior in 2013. No need to risk life and limb in 3rd world country when all you gotta avoid is her parents in Pville.

Serious reply here. Yes. Runs in my family. I have now lost 3 cousins to suicide and I am 35.

Went to a shrink. Got diagnosed with clinical depression and funny enough, he gave me an ADD test and I was in the 90+% of severity for symptoms.

Now I take my pills and go to counseling every 4-6 weeks depending on how often I can get out there.

It honestly changed my life, saved my marriage and made life worth living. Side effects and finding the right meds suck though. Been almost a year now.

Getting in front of someone to help is the key. You can only do so much by yourself. Don't do what I did and waste years of your life trying to do it alone.

Yes, get out, stay active and socialize. Don't hibernate, worst thing for you. Exercise and get off shite food it you eat it. Things aren't nearly as bad as they may seem.

Depression, no. Anxiety, yes. They aren't exactly the same, but pretty close. I got on medicine for a while and it actually got worse. I started exercising, eating WAY better, lost about 35 lbs, and started going to a psych every month or so. It has helped tremendously. It is still a battle i fight almost daily, but I feel like i win them most of the time now.

My bad... What I meant to say was "No, don't do it. Life's too short"
