Lots of LSU folk at Phoenix West II.
Had a good dinner at Florabama Yacht Club Friday night, topped off by Key Lime pie.
Bama liquor store prices suck big time, as you all know........but my underestimation of how much of my own stash to bring wasn't as bad this year.

My father in law just bought a new yacht. He has it at the marina in Orange beach currently. I'm going stay on it next week and fish. Can't wait!

Anybody know if the Purple Parrot resort ever came back and if so, when? Wife and I enjoyed a crazy night there. This was a week or two before Ivan or Charlie. I can't recall which hurricane was "yours"?
I asked if anyone at their little resort bar knew of "a great hole in the wall". Everybody laughed. One dude politely explained that FloraBama was a national "top hole in the wall bar". This was pre hurricane FloraBama glory. I was in love. Told the wife, "I'm not gonna argue with you. I'm gonna give you the decision right now. One more beer or 9. Because if I have two more I'm gonna have 9, and I'll be ready to fight about it."
She chose one, and the night ended with zero incident. But by 11PM I got to see.
A. Bear Bryant's ghost. I'm convinced
B. A girl puking on a picnic table.
C. A HOT girl drop Trow at the bar inside. I don't know if she was dared or if her shorts just slid down, but she was arse naked below waist. It took a good 90 seconds before a bouncer came up and told her it was time to go.
D. A college aged Baw mugging down with a woman in her 40's. All with his friends rolling in laughter in the corner.

Yep. At one of them places with a tiled bird in the pool and a splash pad for the kiddos.
