Any of the decent non-spring startups (meaning Casper, Leesa, Purple, any latex, etc.), as well as Sleep Number, Tempur, etc.
Basically any decent quality foam-based mattress will help. I think ours is a Leesa and my success rate of clumsily getting into bed when drunk while my wife is sleeping (without her waking) is about 50%.

I spent the money on Tempur Pedic a few years ago.
Love it.
Don't regret spending the money

Split King and get the adjustable frame (with under bed motion activated lights). Zero gravity position will put you to sleep fast!
If you both can't agree on the same firmness, go with side by side Twin XL mattresses (each with it's own adjustable frame).

Can’t beat a nice trashy waterbed.
Unfortunately with the weight distribution, any shifting at night could result in tsunami warning for your area.

I like my mattress firm like a slab of concrete

Supposedly the inexpensive bed-in-a-box brands won't last a very long time if you're a heavier person and you'll be replacing your mattress every 5 years. But I don't have one to say. This is just the message constantly emphasized on /r/Mattress
Foam mattresses are polarizing, though. Any time I've slept on one in a hotel, I hate that there's no bounce and I am so hot on it that I'm miserable. But lots of people LOVE them.

Are you in Baton Rouge? If so bring your fat asses over to Billy's and let him custom make one for you.

The Purple mattress will do what you want. Isolation is solid and comfort is tops. A little expensive compared to the cheap mattresses in a box but in line pricewise with Casper and Helix.
The above are all good mattresses and have a good trial period. Tuft and Needle is legit if you are on a budget.

5 years on a purchase that’s less than 1k is pretty good ROI.

I mean, I'm not one of those sky screaming environmentalists but surely you can see why thousands of people throwing away WHOLE arse MATTRESSES every 5 years is a negative thing

Well I think a big selling point on most of those things is that they are recyclable or can be donated under certain circumstances

For the memory foam mattresses, do you have to have a set of box springs under them or do they sit right on the bed rails?

We have a Sealy Hybrid (king sized) and I love it. I never knew what I was missing before getting a good mattress. I always thought our old mattress, which is now in the guest room, was "nice." Now it feels dumb as shite to lay on. Spend the money and get something nice.

Get Wholesale Mattress factory on Florida to make you one. They are cheaper than the box stores and will make it however you'd like.

I don’t have a box spring under. Just lays on top of my bed frame

Sleep number has made a world of difference for my wife and I. King sized bed with two separate zones, really cuts down on the motion.

Another vote for Classic Brands on Amazon, had one 3 years at our coast house and 1 year at our home. So far so good. The one at the coast sits on a raised slated platform, the other one sits on box springs, the raised platform one seems noticeably firmer.
