Any male cheerleader here?

Be honest, how many of you were male cheerleaders in high school/college? Had a friend who did it. He enjoyed it. He is now married with kids.
Cons= looks gay, if your strong enough to throw girls in the air then why not play sports?
Pros= around hot women all the time and hooking up with them, looking under their skirt when holding them up.
Friend's son wants to do it. He asked my opinion.
Thoughts?

I know someone who did this at brother martin. Went on to be on the squad at lsu. Is now in the marines. Looks like things worked out for him.

It certainly helps that some of the other cheerleaders are gay, improving your odds with the females

I personally knew a guy who cheered at UT-Austin while I was there and this described his situation. He got more than the regular athletes did.

I wonder if we know the same guy. He was in my class at brother martin and was a male cheerleader. I think he got a scholarship to cheer at LSU. Graduated 05
