Any BMW X1 Drivers/Reviews?

My gf is looking at buying one; it seems comparable to the touring wagon BMW makes in Europe, but you can’t seem to find here (I drove a 325 tourer when I lived in Germany; best car I’ve ever had).
Hard to tell how the X1 holds its value since they’ve only been in production a few years.
Any posters with insight?
Apologies; can't post pics from phone.

i have one. i love it. drives more like a race care than a sedan. not the most luxurious of rides, but it's German through and through. lightning quick, and steers tighter than a whorehouse virgin. i love mine

Any regular production BMW plummets in value like fat kid doing a cannonball. Had an X3, which is nearly the same thing. Trouble free up to 70K miles, then ate us alive. Dump it after the warranty runs out.

100% agree. My wife has a 17 x5. it has 21k mi. I had a buddy in the biz look it up recently and it's worth a little over 1/2 of sticker at wholesale. I'm not normally a fan of leasing but I would consider leasing a BMW if I had to have it. They seem to subsidize their leases more than anybody.

I want one. EAG has a blue m-sport for “Call for Price”. Considering they have an XIT with 2xs the mileage for $29k, the IT is probably close to $40k.

I have a 2013 (bought it while I was in graduate school.., so yes, I was poor at the time). I love it. I had a 4Runner before (couldn’t afford a new 4Runner when I needed to buy a new car)- def a downgrade in terms of size. I do not have kids so that was not an issue. The BMW has to go in for regular maintance much more frequently, which is a HUGE inconvience for me. However, it drives so well and is so smooth, I do not care. I love my BMW and will drive it as long as I can. I currently have 75k miles and essentially no problems. I had to replace my battery a couple of years ago; they said it was because I didnt drive the recommended 10-20 miles a day at a minimum (I lived approx 3 miles from work).
That all being said, I will prob go back to the 4Runner or look into the Acura MDX when I am ready for a new car due to size. The x3 is essentially the same size as the x1 and the x5 is not worth the inconvience of regular maintance for me..
