Mdx owner here. They have a redesign for 2021 coming similar to the Rdx. Mainly interior changes and technology

Dont get an Acura. They're technology is archaic, might as well get a Honda for a better value. If you want a luxury SUV, go with benz or volvo.

Lost our arse on resale value after only 3 years. Nearly 50% decrease in value, was loaded out with Advance package
This is exactly what will happen with any model vehicle if you purchase the highest trim level new and then trade it in 3 years later.
That has nothing to do with Acura. Read Consumer Reports.

Luxury cars plummet in value. That's part of the risk of buying them new.

Porsche Macan is bulletproof and reasonably priced. It’s also extremely fun to drive.

I think rdx recently has a redesign so that’s a big reason for the excessive depreciation.
That said, luxury and quasi-luxury vehicles (such as Infiniti and Acura) generally don’t hold their value well.

We bought one that was one year old and we really like it. Was 32,000 fully loaded. It's a 2018.

Fantastic cars. Wife just got the MDX after having the RDX since 2016. We love it.
