Sounds like their quality control still sucks. I have an 08 with 170k miles on it. Been a pretty good vehicle other than the complete garbage that is the interior. Cracked dash, peeling buttons, peeling armrests, peeling door handles, and rattles. And I take care of vehicles. Back to Toyota next.

I looked at tahoes and yukons. Def ride well. Didn't care for how much they've been shrunk down.

Ended up with an F-150 Plat. Wife even prefered it. Bigger back seat. Put a Retrax on it for storage.

Have 2015 Yukon Denali. Love the car. Looks nice. Rides nice....
But the price is beyond ridiculous. Bought my wife 2015 infinity qx80. Same price. Much Better car in every aspect except looks. I hated the look. Gave it to my wife instead. She loves it.
Hope that helps.
In other words, buy the qx80 if ur spending that kind of money.

I get a new one each week on rental. By far the best full size ride on the road. I like the GMC a bit more due to the keyless start. But the ride, and interior is excellent. The only neg would be the 60-70k dollar price tag.

I've been looking at a Yukon myself. My last two vehicles were Yukons(2001, 2009), The 2009 interior starting falling apart, so I'm opening up my options on my next decision.

Anyone know someone with the new LR Discovery Sport?

The Tahoe/Suburban is by far the best full sized SUV on the market IMO. We are looking at getting a Z71 Suburban soon.

I actually love the styling of the GMC Yukon as well.

I saw a new Z71 Suburban last week for the first time. While I like the new Tahoes/Yukons, I think GM could've done the Z71s a little better. I liked how the older ones were more rugged looking and stood out a little more.

Have they finally upgraded their interior materials? The previous generation's materials felt more appropriate on a 20k dollar Kia.
