This brand is 100% marketing on feelings. The word "hate" is featured prominently in the message.

A lot of marketing is based on feelings and emotional response. Makes perfect sense they would capitalize off of the fact that conservatives and those with traditional views have been gaslit across virtually all types of media, including advertising the past couple decades. You may not like it, but can you blame conservatives for feeling this way? And also the Daily Wire for killing 2 birds with 1 stone by creating alternative products that align with their own views, and making money off of it?

Shapiro et al have been very vocal about trying to do this across different industries. They have hired an ESPN reporter who got canceled to try their hand at sports, brought Gina Caruana, who got canceled by Disney, into their own attempt at movie production, a few canceled authors in their publishing company, etc. Good for them for identifying the market opportunity and going after it.

No doubt. I just like to point out when the folks who claim to hate emotional responses respond to the exact same tactics in the exact same way.

I don't think anyone is really saying they hate emotional responses in this thread, just the domination of wokeism into all forms of media.

The entirety of anti-"wokeism" is rooted in disdain for others acting on feelings.

I found the commercial to be delightfully sophomoric. Something that has been missing from advertising for a while. Like the old beer commercials from back in the day, I feel like it's good that a company doesn't take itself so seriously.

I probably won't buy his products, because I'm happy with what I've got, but I applaud his approach to marketing.

I think it's a miracle in and of itself that that video is still up on youtube of all places.

Especially after they banned the Bob Menery interview with a former fricking President of the United States.

Safety Razor.
Mike Rowe did a write up about this ad. He mentioned he lost Haary's as an advertiser because he would make fun of multi-blade razors and tell everyone to get the Swindson Sword razor.
