The vaccine is only 40% effective, initially, you have to post a selfie on FB with an "I got vaccinated" sticker in order to get the other 60%.

Statements like this are what makes your typical normie think that someone's reticence about the vaccine is based on some kind of hare brained paranoia.

The flu was worse to me but I understand that's not the case for some. I'm not trying to lessen the impact it's had on some people's lives. I still don't think I should have to go get some vaccine because some singer I've never heard of tells me that I should.

I'm there with you, hoss. I'm a natural contrarian and one stubborn sombitch, so when I'm told that I ought to do something, I tend to dig my heels in. Whether or not I pay for it will remain to be seen.

many "I don't need it" answers. No one gives a shite about others who are vulnerable to the virus and how the longer the virus is out there the greater the chance is it could mutate into something that is vaccine-resistant.
so, you’re trying to tell me that the vaccine provides more protection than having the actual virus itself? If so, I don’t believe it

Maybe the ones vulnerable need to stay their arse at home. Problem solved.

I'm not an anti vaxxer by any means but the more someone tries to pressure me the more I'm going to push back.

My wife? Lol, major anti vaxxer for herself at least, not for the kids. She told me she'd quit her job if they asked her to get it.

It is not unusual to have highly variable immunity in efficacy, longevity, or both derived from a pathogen infection. The deltas in both efficacy and longevity for vaccines are usually much tighter throughout the population simply due to standardized doses. It remains to be seen how this pans out for COVID 19.

This kind of haughty retort is another thing that can cause a bit of reactionary responses in other parts of the population. Few folks enjoy being preached at or made to feel like fools for having reasonable suspicions.

I believe there are only two genders and that you can't swap. I also don't believe that the Earth is on fire.

Novavax is studying a protein subunit vaccine that is not a traditional vaccine.

Examples of traditional viral vector COVID vaccines are J&J, Sputnik V, and Oxford.

1. The "vaccine" doesn't actually keep you from getting the virus.

2. The virus has a 99.7% recovery rate.

3. No one knows what the "Long term" effects of the "vaccine" are.

4. I've already had COVID/Flu this season. I survived.

5. Government wants to mandate it.

I don't care whether one gets the vaccine or not. That's your decision. But there's 3 reasons why I am definitely not getting it:

1. Not comfortable having a rushed vaccine when there could be long term effects
2. No reason to take it since I'm young and in great health and shape
3. Makes no sense whatsoever for me to have to take the vaccine and yet even if I do the government will still try to make me wear a mask like a jackass.

I will not take any Covid vaccine for a long long time if ever and if anybody has a problem with it, IDC who you are, then you can suck my mother fricking dick. Simple as that.
