So you went from arguing that there was very little reduced risk to arguing the actual sizeable reduced risk is irrelevant because you should be wearing a condom.

I you read my previous post, it said it wasn't sizeable or significant for homosexuals. There is no significant reduced risk for either mutilated or non mutilated in anal sex.
My argument is that mutilating your dick won't prevent you from getting STDs only a condom will.

I haven't been arguing that it's more healthy. I'm just saying that circumcision does not equal a barbaric muslim country.

That is the only way to prevent HIV. The studies you are alluding to with that 60% figure are based on studies of adult men not infants, undergoing circumcisions in poor, African countries. Making health policies for newborn boys in the United States based on studies of adult males in Africa is Unjustified. In Europe, where most men are not circumcised, the diseases that circumcision is claimed to prevent are about equally or even less common there than in the United States. For example, the prevalence of HIV/AIDS in the United States, where most men are circumcised, is 2-6 times higher than in non-circumcising countries of Northern Europe
Cutting off sensitive nerve endings in your child's penis because of a study conducted in Africa seems like some sound OT scholar logic.

An observation:
Many of the Anti-Circumscision folks here are VERY defensive as to their position.
Most of the Pro-Circumscision folks here are laissez-faire about the issue.
What would those two differing opinions indicate?
It probably sucks to be an anteater in America.

I have never heard a girl complain about a circumcised penis. Not true for when it comes to sock dicks.
Even ignoring the health facts, circumcised is like wearing a Brooks Brother button up compared to whatever they sell at Wal-Mart. It just fits better.

and then we get called out for asking them to question why they continue this practice and to know the FACTS before mutilating their own offspring. the defensiveness of the pro-circum crowd is textbook psychology 101.

I'm a libertarian, so I believe mostly in letting others do what they want until they initiate violence against another. Ritualistically chopping bits off of children's penises is a form of violence to me, so I oppose it.
I was going to say maybe there should be a religious exemption, but that would easily also apply to Muslims and female genital mutilation, so I threw that out.
