quote:Absolutely. The last couple of years of that show on SXM was terrible, mostly because Opie suddenly got scared of everything controversial. Dude just wanted to sit around and call Sam a nerd for three hours.
Turned into a major pussy.

Lol Stern has sucked for the past 12-15 years but nothing touches Stern in his prime regardless of what he is now. O&A came the closest but were still never that close.

He was extremely fortunate in finding two huge can’t-miss talents, and can’t acknowledge their talent without preaching to everyone that he’s solely responsible for their successes.

Nobody mentioning in here how Nana Cumia got railed by Sue Lightning and had full on meltdowns when reddit said he bombed at a big Jay roast. Opie has a wife and owns nice houses. Nana had to move to a starter home in south Carolina with his box shaped girlfriend. LINK

Opie said it again during one of his recent tirades, "I was wallpaper on MY own show." He's correct, and he still can't get over it all these years later.
He unironically tries to diminish what Anthony and Jim have done post O&A while he sits in his apartment and reads $5 superchats from trolls because he can't/won't do a real show solo.

He's correct, and he still can't get over it all these years later.
It’s why his pinholing autistic mind clings to a victim narrative, saying the entire O&A staff conspired against him. He thinks he’s smarter and more talented than they were, and in his mind, that’s proof enough that a vast conspiracy must have been the only reason for his downfall.

Bump.
Jimmy is back on the show right now. The comedic timing between those 2 is still incredible.

Jesus... the first 10 minutes are better than the post-Jim Sam Roberts abortion on SiriusXM
